Despite legal challenges, two major housing developments in San Jose and Fremont are progressing toward completion. These projects, entangled in a fraud case involving developer Sanjeev Acharya, are moving forward under new management, offering hope for increased housing availability in the Bay Area.

In San Jose, the 91-unit project at 138 Stockton Avenue, near Diridon Station, is nearing completion. Originally developed by Acharya's Silicon Sage Builders, the project faced delays due to the developer's legal troubles. However, a new developer has taken over, aiming to finish construction by the end of the year.

Similarly, in Fremont, the 93-unit development at 42111 Osgood Road is back on track. After a period of uncertainty, construction has resumed, with plans to complete the project in the coming months. The new management is working diligently to ensure the project's success, despite the challenges posed by the previous developer's legal issues.

These developments are part of a larger effort to address the housing shortage in the Bay Area. By moving forward with construction, the new developers aim to provide much-needed housing options for residents. While the legal proceedings against Acharya continue, the focus remains on completing these projects to benefit the community.
